Two people dead after car collides with MTA bus near Patapsco Light RailLink Station

Several passengers on the bus suffered non-life threatening injuries

BALTIMORE, Md. — Baltimore Police are investigating a deadly crash involving an MTA bus and vehicle on the 800 block of West Patapsco Avenue on Friday evening.

According to police, a man and a woman inside a Hyundai sedan were killed after the vehicle and an MTA bus collided outside of the Patapsco Light RailLink Station. Investigators believe that the Hyundai was driving south on Patapsco Avenue when it crashed with the bus.

Officials say eight passengers on the bus suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to an area hospital. The other two passengers in the sedan were also transported to a hospital for treatment.

Detectives from the Baltimore Police CRASH Team and The MTA Police Department are investigating the incident.
