ON OCTOBER 12, 2019 — On October 12, 2019, at 2:37 a.m., patrolling officers heard gunshots on the 800 block of Guilford Avenue. Investigating officers found a 28-year old woman with a gunshot wound to her leg.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Shortly after, officers were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. Upon arrival, officers found a man being treated for gunshot wounds to his body.
Investigators believe both victims were in the 800 block of Guilford Avenue when they were shot. At this time, a motive for the shooting is unknown.
