Two shot within an hour in Baltimore early Christmas Eve

BALTIMORE — Christmas Eve started out violent in Baltimore as three people were reportedly shot around the city, two of them only shot 45 minutes apart.

The first shooting was only 10 minutes after midnight in the 6600 block of Bushey Street in Southeast Baltimore. When officers got to the location they found a 43-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg.

The man was taken to the hospital where police say he is in stable condition.

Only 45 minutes later, police responded to the second shooting of the day in the 500 block of Richwood Ave in Northern Baltimore. There they found a 28-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to her shoulders.

She was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

Then, around 7:51 a.m., polie were called to the Northwest area of the city for a shooting in the 4900 block of Palmer Ave. When officers got to the scene they found a 27-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her leg.
