BALTIMORE, Md. — It was a night of giving and receiving in West Baltimore to celebrate the holidays!
Union Baptist Church in West Baltimore, teamed up with the Marine Corp's toys for tots initiative for those in need this holiday season. For three days starting today, the church will be giving out toys to those who qualify.
"This is a big help. And I didn't really have it. I have a lot of bills to pay and this is a wonderful thing and I'm very appreciative whatever I get," said Erica Wilson.
The church estimates that more than a thousand people will receive gift bags this year.
