BPD: CCTV footage shows "squeegee kid" shattering woman's window, running her over with scooter

BALTIMORE (WMAR) — Baltimore Police say CCTV footage captured a "squeegee kid" running a woman over with a scooter after shattering her car window.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. Thursday, in the 200 block of West Conway Street near Camden Yards.

Police wrote in their report that the victim was in "an extreme state of hysteria" following the incident.

She told officers that she was stopped in traffic with her family when a group of "squeegee kids" approached. The victim told them she didn't want her windows washed, but when she tried driving away, one of them shattered the back window of her van.

When the victim got out of the car to try and take photo's of the suspect, he got onto a scooter and allegedly yelled "I'm gonna kill you," before running into the woman and knocking her to the ground.

Officers reported the victim suffered a scrape and large contusion to the leg. She was taken to a hospital and released.

The officer reviewed CCTV footage which showed the suspect shattering the victim's window and running her over with the scooter before fleeing.

Police have yet to find the suspect. He's possibly in his 20's, around 5'10 and 170 pounds, last seen wearing a gray winter coat with a black hoodie underneath, with dark pants and light colored sneakers.
