BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead.
The department said officers were called at 3:40 p.m. on Monday to the 400 block of S. Lehigh Street in the area of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, after being notified about a shooting.
On the scene, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. An unknown Hispanic man suspect, wearing a turquoise shirt was seen fleeing northbound on foot on Lehigh Street.
