The city has pooled resources and will offer employment opportunities and job readiness programs for entire month.

Starting Friday through Sept. 25, Baltimore city residents can be connected to find workshops and activities to help you find a job.

"What we want is to make sure we're helping the people that live in our city," Mayor Catherine Pugh said. "that's what this effort it about. It's about helping Baltimoreans get to work. We don't want to just get them to work, we want to create opportunities and careers."

This all culminates with a huge employment event at the Baltimore Convention Center on Wednesday Sept. 27.
