BALTIMORE — A group of young adults are about to be ready for a career as around 70 Year Up Baltimore students attended a career fair on Wednesday.

They will graduate the one-year IT and Workforce Training Program in January and this gave them the opportunity to connect with local business owners and recruiters.

"Our students are getting ready for graduation and are starting their journey for employment," said Clif Morgan of Year Up Baltimore. "So this is a big part of us getting them ready to go out and do interviews and find the employment that their looking for at the end of our journey."

Morgan says within four months after graduating from the program, 85 percent of graduates are employed.
