OWINGS MILLS, Md. — On Saturday, the 15th Annual B-More Bags Trunk Show at Ruth's Closet was a chance for people to pick up some holiday gifts and help a good cause at the same time.
The event featured handmade one-of-a-kind bags made by volunteers as prices ranged from $12 to $125.
All proceeds benefit House of Ruth Maryland, which helps people affected by intimate partner violence.
"Women and a few men as well work year-round to create these handmade bags. And then every single bag that is sold benefits the women and children that we serve in our programming for House of Ruth Maryland." said Kathleen Williams, manager at Ruth’s Closet
Ruth's Closet is located at the Valley Village Shopping Center on Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills.
