PERRY HALL, Md. — An 18-year-old who had just crashed into a tree on I-95 was killed after being hit by another car, according to Maryland State Police.

Police say 18-year-old Aaron Reddy had left his Perry Hall home and was driving eastbound on Joppa Road approaching I-95 when he drove off the road for an unknown reason and hit a tree. His car came to stop after hitting a chain link fence.

Police believe after the crash, Reddy was walking on the road when he was hit by oncoming traffic. Witnesses at the scene say they saw Reddy lying on the road before he was hit.

Reddy was near mile marker 68.5 on southbound I-95, at the Joppa Road overpass when he was hit.
