A 2-alarm fire heavily damaged the Jeppi Nut & Candy Company. The fire started just before midnight Tuesday, fire officials said.
Baltimore county firefighters reported smoke showing from the one-story warehouse. The fire escalated to two alarms and caused heavy damage to the Jeppi building. Adjacent structures suffered water damage, officials said.
No one was in the building at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
Investigators have not determined the cause of the fire. It remains under investigation.
