28-year-old motorcyclist dies after being thrown off motorcycle in Essex

ESSEX, Md. — A motorcyclist was killed Saturday afternoon after he was thrown off his motorcycle.

At around 12:30 p.m., Baltimore County Police Officers responded to Windlass Road and Martin Boulevard for a crash.

A 2019 Harley Davidson Softail Street Bob was traveling southbound on Windlass Drive when it slid off the roadway. As a result, the driver was ejected off the motorcycle.

The driver, who has been identified as 28-year-old Nicholas Steven Green, of the 2200 block of Coralthorn Road, was taken to Franklin Square Hospital for medical treatment, but was later pronounced dead a little after 1:20 p.m.

Crash team officers are continuing their investigation.
