MIDDLE RIVER, Md. — A 74-year-old Middle River man died in a single-vehicle crash Thursday night, Baltimore County Police said.
Officers responded to a crash on Harewood Road, at the intersection of Sand Dollar Way, at about 9:30 p.m. Investigators said the lone vehicle involved, a 2003 Mercedes XLK430 driven by Edward Vaughan Sr. of the 13200 block of Birdale Avenue, left the roadway and struck a pole. The car then overturned after hitting the pole.
Vaughan was the car’s lone occupant. He was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation into the crash continues, police said.
