PARKVILLE, Md. — They came from Randallstown, Bel Air, and Hamilton all for a haircut from Mr. Angelo.

Loose hairs are not hitting the floor, but tears are for Mr. Angelo who has died at the age of 84.

He came from the Old Country to live the American Dream. And he saw his dream come true owning his own barber shop in the Parkville Shopping Center. His son Massimo followed in his father's footsteps, cutting hair four stalls down for 27 years.

A woman walked in one day named Stephanie. She wanted a job fresh out of barber school. Angelo hired her and said, “Watch me.” Well, Stephanie watched his son Mass and they ended up getting married and having children.

Angelo’s daughter Melina said, “I’m so proud of my father; he is a legend and he will live forever.”
