TOWSON, Md. — The Baltimore County Public Library kicked off its annual “Connecting the Community Toy Drive” Monday morning.

The library will be collecting toys, for the next month that will be donated to various community-based nonprofits throughout the county.

Residents can drop off new, unwrapped toys at all 19 branches. Each branch has chosen a local organization to donate its toys to.

"We're all doing the drive to sponsor a different agency. At Towson library we're sponsoring prologue. Were excited about this event, makings children happy, bring your donations." said Youth and Family Engagement Coordinator, Brenda Johnson Perkins.

The drive runs through December 6th. Donations will be sent to organizations on December 9 and the toys will be distributed to families in time for the holidays.
