Baltimore County police are investigating a hit and run crash that left one man dead.
The crash happened 6:45 a.m. Sunday morning in the 6700 block of Windsor Mill Road in Lochearn. Police found the Jermine Taylor, 30, in the front yard of a home with serious injuries. Paramedics were called but he died at the scene.
Police say he was walking on Windsor Mill Road near Lukewood Drive when he was hit by a car and that car drove off.
"The troubling thing with this is had that person stopped or had that person gone to a pay phone and called 911 that individual might still be alive," said Corporal John Wachter of the Baltimore County Police Department. "But they left him there. They left that man there to die."
Police are looking for a 1999 to 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, Tahoe or Suburban and say it likely has damage to the right headlight and mirror. There might also be damage to the windshield.
The crash is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team.
