BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — Presidents' Day will be a regular school day for Baltimore County Public Schools this year.

The Maryland State Board of Education has approved a request from Baltimore County Public Schools to make Presidents’ Day (February 17) a regular school day, with all schools and offices open.

The change is in accordance with the 2019-2020 school calendar and the planned use of emergency closure make-up days.

Opening schools on February 17 will make up for the school system’s emergency closure of schools on December 16, 2019.
