The Baltimore County Department of Health recovered a laboratory-confirmed rabid cat in Parkville Thursday.
The cat is a white and brown tabby that was found on 2nd Avenue. The Baltimore County Department of Health is asking if anyone or their pets had direct exposure to this cat to contact the health department at 410-887-5963.
The department advises citizens not to feed stray cats.
