BALTIMORE — On Tuesday, the Board of Education of Baltimore County voted to approve a post Labor Day start for the 2020-21 school year.
According to Brandon Oland of BCPS, there will be a 10 calendar day Spring Break, barring using 1 day for inclement weather, make-up day.
The Jewish and Muslim holidays previously included as potential days for inclement weather will now be professional development days.
This means that school will start Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020 and end on June 18.
