BALTIMORE (WMAR) — Baltimore County Police say they've arrested a box truck driver who allegedly ran over and killed a pedestrian before taking off last Friday.
Rovyn Joel Prudencio-Banegas, 35, is accused of hitting 42-year-old Maxie Henry Roldan as he was walking on South Dolefield Road after midnight.
Police say Prudencio-Banegas briefly stopped but soon got back in the truck and left.
Roldan was taken to Sinai Hospital where he later died.
Prudencio-Banegas is in custody at the Baltimore County Dtention Center awaiting an initial bail review hearing.
