OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Who Wants To Be A Millionaire has launched an app that allows anyone to play the same night it airs, and a local man was a nationwide winner.
On the fourth game played last week, a man from Catonsville won! On the app, the prize is the same amount the celebrities playing for charity win that night.
Last week each winner took home over $5,000 and played against over 40 thousands players at the start of the game.
This is not the first local winner, Jason McKenney from Owings Mills won almost $18,000 playing the millionaire app game last week, and the week before that another local man won.
