A decomposing body was found in a Rosedale home Tuesday night, Baltimore County Police said.
Police responded to the home in the 1500 block of Chapel Hill Drive after a relative called police after not being able to contact the resident of the home for several weeks.
No one had seen the resident in at least a week, police said. After forcing their way into the home, officers located a decomposing body.
The body is being transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for identification and an autopsy.
The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit is conducting a death investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-307-2020.
