Dogs help Towson University students unwind during finals

Posted

The papers. The exams. It is a stressful time for college students, but not for those attending Towson University classes on Friday.

Students were hugging dogs. Pups from Pets on Wheels were on campus spreading some love and helping students take a break from their studies.

"It's basically just to allow students the opportunity to relax, unwind, just have a break from the stress of finals and there's no better way to do that then with some puppies," said Eden Parks, Towson University librarian for outreach and student engagement.

This was only the second time the "Hug a Dog" event was held on campus. The university hopes to keep it going next semester.
