DUNDALK, Md. — Baltimore County Police say three Dundalk area schools had to postpone dismissal due to reports of shots being fired in the area.

Police told WMAR-2 News that Dundalk Elementary, Middle and High Schools would not allow students to leave the buildings after calls came in at around 2 p.m. of possible shots being fired in the area of Mornington and Cornwall Roads.

Officials have since cleared those schools for dismissal. However, they are still in the area completing their investigation and, at the moment, there have been no reported injuries.
