Fire crews rescued a person after a car drove into a Dundalk creek

DUNDALK, Md. — Baltimore County Police are investigating a vehicle that drove into a Dundalk creek Thursday morning.

The Baltimore Fire Department said crews responded to a call of a water rescue around 10:15 a.m. in the 8200 block of Longpoint Road at Bear Creek. Police said when they arrived, officers found one-person swimming from the car to the shore.

Fire crews sent a diver from the Middle River Volunteer Company to rescue the person. Fire officials said there was no other people in the car.

The rescued person was taken to an area hospital with unknown conditions at the moment.
