PARKVILLE, Md. (WMAR) — A firefighter was injured and two dogs were rescued on Wednesday after a Parkville home erupted in flames.

Baltimore County Fire officials said it happened in the 8200 block of Evergreen Drive.

A medic on scene revived one of the dogs with a pet oxygen mask.

The fire was eventually extinguished and no one else was reportedly hurt.

It's unclear what kind of injury the firefighter sustained, but officials say it was non-life threatening.
