Halethorpe business owner shot by armed suspects has died

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — A Halethorpe business owner who was shot by armed suspects last week has died.

On June 24 just after 11 p.m., police responded to a restaurant called 15 De Septiembre located in the 3900 block of Hollins Ferry Road for a shooting.

Responding officers found 56-year-old Lovo Norverto shot in the upper body.

He was taken to a local hospital where he remained in critical condition.

On Sunday, Noverto succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma.

Baltimore County Homicide Detectives are continuing the investigation into this murder.
