BALTIMORE — Beginning Wednesday at 8 p.m., the Hollins Ferry Road ramp to the I-695 inner loop will close around the clock for 10 weeks.
The closure is to rehabilitate the bridge above the Baltimore beltway, which holds the CSX railroad.
Repairs will be made to the center pier, abutments, bridge beam seat, back walls and wing walls. Protective coating and sealer will also be applied between new and existing concrete and all substructure units.
Traffic will be detoured onto Hammonds Ferry Road, Nursery Road and the Fairview Avenue ramp to I-695 North.
The $750,000 project is expected to be complete by early fall.
