COCKEYSVILLE, Md. — Homicide detectives are investigating after part of a dismembered body was found Tuesday afternoon at the Baltimore County Main Recycling Plant.
Baltimore County Police say workers discovered just the torso of a man wrapped in a tarp as it was coming down a conveyor belt at the plant's sorting facility.
While located in the 10200 block of Beaver Dam Road in Cockeysville, the plant also serves Harford and Cecil Counties.
Detectives are now trying to figure out which truck dumped the body, and from where.
The Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Police know the man's name but aren't yet releasing it.
