RANDALLSTOWN, Md. — The Liberty Road Volunteer Fire Company needs your help repairing a fire engine that was struck and damaged earlier this year.
In order to get the truck back on the road, the fire house started a GoFundMe page with a goal of raising $627,000.00
Liberty Road is one of two Baltimore County volunteer companies with a predominantly African American female staff,
A 1992 Seagrave model, the fire engine has been a part of the company for the past 28 years, serving the Randallstown, Granite, Woodstock, Harrisonville, New Town and Owings Mills communities.
The air system, front bumper, electronics, drivers side doors, emergency warning system, and wheel are among the many repairs needed.
In the meantime, the company is able to use a loaner fire engine, thanks to the Baltimore County Fire Department.
