OVERLEA, Md. — Baltimore County Police are investigating a shooting during an attempt robbery in Overlea.
The department said officers were called to the 4800 block of Hazelwood Avenue just before midnight. There, they found a 27-year-old man suffering a gunshot wound to the lower body during an attempted street robbery.
Police said, the victim fought back and the suspects fled the scene.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to survive his wounds.
