PARKVILLE, Md. — Baltimore Ravens running back Mark Ingram teamed up with ShopRite stores on Wednesday to fight hunger in the community.
As part of ShopRite's "Help Bag Hunger" Day, Ingram helped bag groceries for customers at the store in Parkville.
Through their initiative, ShopRite is donating $90,000 to the Maryland Food Bank in addition to all of proceeds earned on Wednesday.
Since its inception in 1999, ShopRite Partners in Caring has donated $48 million to local food banks, supporting more than 2,200 charities that feed the hungry in communities served by ShopRite stores.
