Monday marks 24 years since Jody Lecornu was murdered

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — Today marks a grim anniversary for one Maryland family, 24 years ago, Jody Lecornu was murdered in Baltimore County.

There's been billboards, a $100,000 reward and still no arrest.

The 1996 murder of the 23-year-old Towson student in the Drumcastle Government Center Parking lot on York Road remains a mystery even tonight.

But her twin sister Jennifer and her mother, nearly 80 years old haven't given up.

"She and I went to the gravesite today. it's where Jody and my dad are buried there and its just hard a lot because I feel like I'm just going through the motions of my life after all those years, I haven't dealt with her death and don't know that i ever will," Jennifer said.
