Enrollment at nearly all of the elementary schools in the northeast area of Baltimore County is at or above the state-rated capacity.
Out of the area's 21 elementary schools, 20 exceed capacity, according to an annual report released by Baltimore County Public Schools.

Systemwide, elementary schools are 105.35 percent over capacity, but in the northeast area, schools are 116.02 percent over capacity.
Four of the area's elementary schools are above 130 percent over capacity: Fullerton Elementary, Harford Hills Elementary, Perry Hall Elementary and Shady Springs Elementary.
In addition, two middle schools, Parkville Middle and Perry Hall Middle, are over capacity.

Baltimore County councilman David Marks plans to hold a press conference at 3 p.m. Wednesday in front of Perry Hall Middle School to discuss the school system's overcrowding issues and enrollment numbers.
