PERRY HALL, Md. — A new facility will help Alzheimer's and Dementia patients using things like movies, music, photographs and activities from the past.

On Wednesday, there was a ribbon cutting event for town square's inaugural facility in Perry Hall. The one-of-a-kind 11,000 square foot facility has dozens of unique storefronts like a 1950s era diner, movie theater, library and garden center arranged around a green central park.

The facility will help support reminiscence therapy, a method of helping senior citizens reflect on positive memories and experiences.

Town Square will accommodate approximately 100 guests a day and serve seniors in the greater Baltimore metro area and surrounding communities.
