EDGEMERE, Md. — Baltimore County Police are investigating an early morning homicide in Edgemere that took place in the area of 7500 block of North Point Road just after 2:00 a.m.
When medics arrived they began treating the victim, an unidentified 26-year-old man who was shot in the upper body.
He was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where he died around 4:30 a.m.
Police believe the victim and the suspect were engaged in a disturbance before the shooting.
The department said the suspect remained at the scene and was taken to police headquarters for questioning.
