One person is dead and another seriously injured after a car crashed into a pole in Pikesville.
The crash happened at the intersection of Milford Mill Road and Slade Avenue on Monday evening.
An investigation revealed a Toyota Tacoma was traveling east on Milford Mill Road when it left the road and struck a street light support pole.
As result of the crash the passenger, identified as Evan David Carton, 40, of the 3200 block of Old Post Drive was ejected from the truck onto the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
