Baltimore County Fire officials responded to a dwelling fire in the 100 block of Ridge Avenue in Lansdowne.
Personnel from the volunteer fire company arrived to see heavy smoke from a fire on the first floor. The fire was contained in about twenty minutes. Because of structural damage, investigators had not yet been able to inspect the building.
No civilians were injured in the fire, but one firefighter was evaluated at the scene for minor injuries.
