TOWSON, Md. — Baltimore County Fire crews were at the scene of a serious crash in Towson Tuesday afternoon.
Fire officials say the crash happened at the intersection of Edgeclift Road and East Joppa Road. They say the car drove into a utility pole and an occupant in the vehicle was trapped.
The person in the vehicle has died. The driver was identified as Barry Martin Beynon, 74, of the 5000-block of Willow Branch Way.
