TOWSON, Md. — A new web platform will allow Baltimore County residents to review and explore the county’s budget online, the county government announced in a statement.
Residents can visit the county’s website to find the online offering. The budget can be perused for specific programs or services. The online portal features information about revenue, expenditures, appropriate funds and expenditures.
“An open, transparent government is an accountable government. We can better serve the residents of Baltimore County by ensuring they have access to information about where our money comes from and where it goes,” Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski said in a statement. “The open budget platform provides an unprecedented level of transparency to Baltimore County’s budget process.”
