REISTERSTOWN, Md. — A person trapped inside a vehicle that had struck a downed tree was rescued by fire crews on Thursday afternoon.
It happened on Dover Road near Byerly Road in Upperco.
Members of the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company arrived on scene and found the car on its side and were able to remove one patient from the vehicle.
The person was transported by ambulance to the old Boring Firehouse, then to an awaiting helicopter which flew the patient to the hospital with critical injuries.
No other details were immediately available.
