UPPERCO, Md. (WMAR) — Baltimore County Police have identified a man whose body was found Monday afternoon in a field.

Police say the body of 36-year-old Thomas Blanton Jr. was discovered in the 16800 block of Ridge Road in Upperco.

The Medical Examiner's Office is expected to perform an autopsy on Blanton to determine his cause of death.

Baltimore County Police Homicide detectives are currently investigating the case.
