DUNDALK, Md. (WMAR) — Baltimore County Police say a child was sexually assaulted Monday morning at a Dundalk elementary school.
The girl reported the incident to Norwood Elementary School staff immediately after arriving at school.
A school resource officer then reviewed surveillance video that showed a suspect sexually assaulting the child on a footpath near the baseball fields.
Police say the victim does not attend Norwood Elementary.
The suspect was then seen running away from school property.
Detectives with the Crimes Against Children Unit are leading the investigation.
