A 50-year-old man died in a single car crash in Randallstown Saturday morning.
Police said around 5:35 a.m. officers were called the intersection of Liberty Road and Old Court Road for a report of a serious crash.
When officers arrived they found a Toyota Avalon crashed into an embankment. The driver, identified as Emerson Bailey of Randallstown, was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation found the Toyota was traveling east on Liberty Road when it crossed the center turn lane and into westbound traffic before jumping a curb. The car then smashed into a tree and a signpost before coming to rest on the embankment.
The Baltimore County Crash Team is investigating.
