OWINGS MILLS, Md. — The Ravens held their 15th annual Holiday Helpers’ event Monday in Owings Mills.

Cornerback Brandon Carr along with a few other players and cheerleaders, served as personal shoppers for high achieving and underserved students in Baltimore City.

Each child received a $200 target gift card to buy something for themselves and a gift for a special loved one.

They also enjoyed pizza, cake and went home with gift bags full of goodies.

"It’s all about love and we have an opportunity to have a platform and use it in a positive way and the kids are an inspiration to use and we want to inspire them as well so it’s an opportunity to give back and put a smile on their face…show these kids we're human beings as well." said Carr.

The event was funded by the team and Brandon Carr's, Carr foundation.
