LOCH RAVEN, Md. — Several roads are going to be closed for at least the next two weeks due to a roadway undermining.
Loch Raven Drive between Providence Road and Morgan Mill was supposed to just be closed on Thursday, but officials have since announced it will take longer than expected.
Crews are expected to work on the foundation of the road after heavy rainfall over the last several months caused destabilization.
DPW contractors will soon begin repair work to correct the erosion and stabilize the roadway. Detours have been posted.
