BALTIMORE COUNTY — The Save A Lot store on McMechen Street was temporarily closed due to a positive case of COVID-19.

A spokesperson for Save A Lot said the store is reopening Thursday afternoon following extensive cleaning regime in line with recommendations.

In a statement, the spokesperson said:

"At Save A Lot, the health and wellness of our customers, our team members and our communities is our top priority. We can confirm that our store on McMechen Street was closed due to one positive case of COVID-19...With the support of the local health department, the McMechen Street store is reopening this afternoon following an extensive cleaning regime in line with recommendations."
