In Joppa Wednesday night, there is one less smile, one less joke, one less ray of sunshine.
A year ago, Timmy White was killed in a hit-and-run at the age of 22.

We still don’t know who did it. His mom and dad pass that spot everyday to go home where they can still see Timmy as their little boy on his tricycle, swatting wiffle balls out front.
Out front now, is a concrete stained memorial bench. It's where Timmy can now keep an eye on his parents who miss him so. With help from great friends, the Whites started raising money so that Timmy would be remembered.
On Saturday from 2-6 p.m. at the Bushmill Tavern in Abingdon, bands will play and auction items will be sold. The money will go to form scholarships at CCBC in Timmys name.
It's ironic the young man who gave us so much sunlight was about to become an electrician. He’d change a light bulb for you for free. And here his spirit is, making sure strangers are sent to college for free. Timmy’s favorite saying, “Its all good."
