BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — A second Baltimore County police officer has tested positive for coronavirus.
The Baltimore County Police Department said they are working with the Department of Health to initiate a contact trace review, which will enable us to know who might have been exposed.
Currently, there are 32 officers self-quarantining but the department says the number will be fluid as they continue to trace contact.
Anyone who is determined to have been exposed to the virus will be contacted by the Health Department and provided with further guidance.
BCPD will continue to provide the highest level of service to the community but need your help.
They say heed Governor Larry Hogan's orders and shelter in place unless it is essential.
