Stevenson University continues its goal of expanding its campus.

Governor Larry Hogan and other officials announced the sale of the Rosewood Center bordering the Owings Mills campus.

The center, which was an institution for people with developmental disabilities, was closed in 2009.

The University will transform the space not only for its students but for the Owings Mills community as well.

"The vision of having ball fields and academic buildings for students and shared resources for the community is just an incredible vision," said Senator Bobby Zirkin,

Zirkin says the project will take several years and will cost between $60 million to $70 million.
